How to prioritize your life.

We are in the new year.
We are completing the first month.

Last year.
One thing that last year taught us was to prioritize life.

Some of us seized the opportunity of extra time. Some of us felt dragged by the circumstance, as though we had no control over what was happening.

Now,

How do you want this year to be? When the year ends, would you have moved closer to your calling or would you be found standing in the same place you are now?

Friend,

The fastest and easiest way to move in the direction of our calling is to align ourselves to His purposes. And that is the efficient use of the day and cumulatively our life.

Eph 5:15-16 TPT  brings home this point- So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you SPEND YOUR LIFE FOR HIS PURPOSES.

So what is God’s purpose?

To bring the Kingdom of God on earth.

In Luke 8:11 NIV we read ….Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.

In Matthew 6, In what we call as the Lord’s prayer,

Jesus wanted us to seek the same thing- To bring His Kingdom on earth.

He taught us the way to pray-

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

That was the the mission of Jesus.
And Jesus aligned Himself to His Father’s will.

We see this in the following scriptures:

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 4:34 Jesus explained, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.

Luke 2: 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

OUR LIFE SHOULD MIRROR THIS.
OUR LIFE SHOULD LINE UP WITH GOD’S PURPOSE

Now, how can we align ourselves to His Kingdom purposes?

We see this beautifully illustrated in the story of Mary & Martha.

Luke 10:38-42
38 And it came to pass as they went that He( Jesus) entered into a certain village; and a certain woman, Martha by name, received him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also, having sat down at the feet of Jesus was listening to his word.
40 Now Martha was distracted with much serving, and coming up she said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Speak to her therefore that she may help me.
41 But Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things;
42 but there is need of one, and Mary has chosen the good part, the which shall not be taken from her.

What was Mary valuing that Martha wasn’t?

His Word

God’s Kingdom is built by His Word

His Word brings the Kingdom in us individually and also collectively on earth.

We entered the Kingdom by His Word.

1 Peter 1:23 TPT For through the eternal and living Word of God you have been born again. And this “seed” that he planted within you can never be destroyed but will live and grow inside of you forever

In Luke 8:11 we see that the Seed is the WOG

In Mark 4: 26 Jesus says “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

God’s Kingdom is built by the WOG

Seed, which is the WOG has the inherent potency to bring about change and growth in a person’s heart.

And the seed can meet every need of ours on earth as well. .

In Matthew 6:33 ESV, we read
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

The Weymouth New Testament translation drives the point well that the seeking His Kingdom should be the primary/chief aim.

But make His Kingdom and righteousness your chief aim, and then these things shall all be given you in addition.

Yes, Kingdom purpose should be our purpose.

Because God knows we cannot serve two things.

Matthew 6:24-25  24No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

God wants to be your source.

And

There is a seed for every need

Friend,

Receive the WOG to meet your needs.

Plant it in your heart  and see it grow.                                                  .
